DS Games I’m Looking Forward To July 1, 2008

I recently have gotten back into playing my DS, and with some new games on the way, I’m really excited. Especially these:
Tetris DS: I love Tetris, and I can’t wait to start playing this game. It’s got the standard Tetris mode, and a boatload of new modes that use the DS touch screen. Besides that, the standard modes have themes starring classic Nintendo characters. Looks to be pretty fun.
Mega Man ZX Advent: The sequel to the first Mega Man ZX, Advent brings in new Force Metals and enemies. That’s about it, yeah.
Etrian Odyssey: I’ve outlined it before, but the premise is so cool, I’ll do it again. Remember the days whilst playing the old NES AD&D games, and you’d use some grid paper to make your own maps? Oh, that was just me? Anyways, this game brings back that old-school idea with a new-school twist: this time you don’t have to supply a grid paper; you instead use the DS touch screen. Great idea, let’s just hope it doesn’t get old quick.
Chibi Robo: I loved Chibi-Robo for the GC, and this time, we’re out of the house and in the park. I haven’t really done a lot of reading on this game, but my one hope is that it’s a little faster than the GC version. It slugged along at the beginning.
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow: Sequel to one of my favorite GBA games, Aria of Sorrow. This time there’s some touch screen crap, or something.
Gundam 00: Based on the new anime of the same name, 00 let’s you play as any (I think) of the main Gundams from the show. The game is divided between action and map mode where you choose your missions from one of the three main areas and militaries. Your main goal is to take them all out (I think, anyway).
Well, there you have it. Expect some more info on these games once I get them. It’s almost 2, and I’m beat.
