On December 25, I’ll have my very own shiny PSP. So, in preparation for that day, I’ve researched a few great PSP games that will grace my collection some time in the (far) future.

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2: Another Road: Why can’t I get away from DBZ? What is it that draws me towards the series, unlike any other series/show can? I don’t know, but I’ve played and beaten most of the newer DBZ games (Budokai 1-3, Budokai Tenkaichi 1-2, Supersonic Warriors 1-2), so I might as well finish the tradition on my new system. The game features many characters, and an excellent combat system (featuring combos, specials, ki attacks, lightning fast chases). I’m really excited about this game, and it will most likely be the first one I get.

Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron: I already posted about this game, but it’s worth the second mention. This game looks insanely awesome. Especially the fact that you can customize your character, and there are multiple new game modes (including the really interesting “Hero CTF”). Looks to be the best PSP game of all time (in my opinion).

Disgaea: A quirky, cartoony, turn-based strategy game with a buttload of playing time (it’s too insane to post here on this site, but over 100 hours). I don’t really know a lot about this game, but I do know that it looks freaking awesome.
