In this new feature, we’ll be looking at the best flash games out there. This week’s game is ArmorPicross and this week’s category is Puzzle.

The Good: This game is a very fun timed puzzle game. Your objective is to complete the pixel-perfect picture before the time runs out (you’ve got a half hour, so there’s no rush). To complete the puzzles, you have to match the numbers on the sides of the grid to the number of pixels that are filled in each row. In easy you have a 5×5 grid, in medium a 10×10 grid and in Extreme you have a 15×15 grid. There’s also many downloadable packs with more puzzles to fill your free time.

The Bad: Easy is too easy. Medium is just right. Extreme is just too plain hard. Unless you’re a completion freak, you’ll find yourself doing the first sets of puzzles, but quitting when you get to hard. Then again, maybe you won’t, maybe you’re better than me.

The Addictive: It’s new. Remember the huge Sudoku craze? Well, that’s what you’ll feel if you play ArmorPicross (assuming you haven’t yet played Picross before). You’ll just barely pass each puzzle, but each time you’ll think “just one more.” It’s hard to put a finger on just what it is that makes it so addicting, it just simply is. So go out and play the game, it’s awesome!
