This might be the happiest day in my life as a gamer. I finally beat RE4’s Mercenaries mode with 5 stars on each level with every character! After I beat the Castle, the rest of the levels came easy, and I got 5 stars with Ada on the Waterworld on my first try. So, I unlocked the Handcannon, and I bought it in game. How is it? you might ask. Read on to find out.

Well, the initial stats of the gun are Capacity: 3 and Firepower: 30, not sure on the reload speed. In my first Merchant visit, I increased the capacity to 10, and the firepower to 35; now I have max reload speed, and only one upgrade to get max firepower. Then, just one upgrade for Exclusive status.

Anyways, how do these numbers translate to gameplay? Well, let’s take a look at what I’ve done with the Handcannon. I beat the Gigante with two shots, the Bella Sisters with on shot a piece, the second Gigante with two shots, and (big trenchcoat man, I forget his name) with 6 (I think) shots. In other words - it’s awsome! The only real downside is the firing speed. Each shot has incredible recoil, forcing you to wait a second or two before firing again. However, if you’re only using it on bosses (like me), it’s fine.

I love this gun, and it was definitely worth the time I spent to get it.
